- Other airports. Dallas Love Field is owned and run by the City of Dallas and is a different market. Fort Worth Meacham, Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance and Fort Worth Spinks are city fields and are not offered here. They are named once, here, as exclusions.
- Counties beyond this one. An address outside Tarrant County is declined rather than quoted optimistically.
- Anything on the field itself. Ground inside the airport belongs to the airport, and this desk has no standing there of any kind.
Why the coverage is not described as a region
Because "the metroplex" is a phrase, not a set of operators. The operators this desk asks cover this county, and outside it the honest answer is that it does not know who is available or what they would charge.
A wider claim would cost nothing to type and would be discovered by whoever relied on it.
About the airport and the two cities that own it
Dallas Fort Worth International is owned by the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth and is run by its own board, and the field itself lies outside the city limits of both. That is a plain geographic and administrative fact and it is stated here once.
