Known on the Day
Four things that are only true on the morning itself. The desk treats all four as provisional until then, and expects to be told about at least one of them.
Provisional on purpose
These four are written into the record like everything else, and unlike everything else they are expected to change. That is not the record failing. It is what this moment means.
A desk that treats them as settled produces a confident document describing a journey nobody is taking, and the person who finds out is standing on a sidewalk.
Early against late
Every one of these four has the same shape. Told the evening before, it is usually absorbed without difficulty and sometimes without cost. Discovered at the curb, it is often the end of the booking.
The difference is not the size of the change. It is whether a driver has already been allocated and is already moving.
What the desk can and cannot do here
It can pass anything on, the same posted day, without deciding that something is too small to mention. It cannot send a second car, cannot overrule an operator, and cannot be at the curb.
Saying that plainly is more useful than a promise of rescue from a company that owns no vehicles.
